As a TSA-certified Indirect Air Carrier (IAC), Global Shipping has access to other convenient means of shipping air freight that uncertified shipping companies do not have, giving us and our clients more options for a cost-effective and timely delivery service. An IAC is any person or company in the US who indirectly engages in the air transport of cargo. In other words, IACs do not own or operate aircraft but work with airlines to transport cargo by air.
The Transport Security Administration (TSA) handles the security process when it comes to the movement of people and goods through all US airports and aboard aircraft. The IAC program creates and manages layers of security throughout the supply chain to protect the public. As an agency of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the TSA has strict security requirements that IACs must follow.
